This QuickStart guide will walk you through setting up your Online Portal which you’ll use to pay rent or dues, submit your proof of insurance and maintenance requests, access lease documents, and more.

How to get started:

1. You will receive an email or text from us with a link to set up your personal, secure Online Portal.
2. Click the link in the email or text and follow the steps to set up your password, or, to provide your contact info, then set up your password.
3. Login and gain access to the easiest, fastest, and most secure way to pay rent and other charges online, view payment history, submit maintenance requests, and more.
4. Download the Mobile app to conveniently stay logged in to your Online Portal.

Pay your rent or dues online, anywhere, anytime:

eCheck

Enter your bank account and routing numbers in your secure Online Portal to pay rent or any other charge directly from your checking or savings account.

• eCheck (ACH): Free Option

Credit or Debit Card

Use your debit or credit card to pay rent or any other charge through the secure Online Portal or use Apple Pay through the iOS mobile app for fast and familiar checkout.

• Credit Card: 3.49% of the total amount per transaction
• Debit Card: $9.99 flat fee per transaction

Electronic Cash Payments

If you choose this method of payment, we will provide you with a reusable PaySlip that you can use at Walmart, Walgreens, 7-Eleven, CVS, Casey’s, or Ace Cash Express to pay your rent in cash. Locations available at: https://paynearme.com/locations/

• Electronic Cash Payments: $3.99 for every $2,000.00 (except 7-11 which is $1,500)

To make electronic cash payments using AppFolio, follow these steps:

• Obtain a unique PaySlip from our office. Email [email protected] if you have not yet received this and we will send it to you electronically.
• Find a participating location where you can make the cash payment. PayNearMe locations are listed on their website at: https://paynearme.com/locations/
• Present the PaySlip at the participating location and make your payment with cash.
• The cashier will provide you with a receipt as proof of payment.
• You will receive a confirmation email or text message from AppFolio within 10 minutes of making your payment.

Please note that an Electronic Cash Payment receipt will be created in AppFolio within 10-15 minutes of your payment, and the funds will be deposited into your property manager’s or landlord’s bank account within 3-5 business days, depending on the speed of the payment location and their bank.
